Clifftop Terrace with Limestone Pavers and Curved Steps

This clifftop terrace is paved in squared limestone pieces of mixed sizes, ranging from pale cream to warm rust and grey, with tumbled edges that soften the pattern. Three curved steps with rounded nosings sweep down in a wide arc to a lower sitting circle, where irregular stones are set in pale joints around a cypress tree. The shift from squared pavers to loose crazy paving marks the change of level without a hard edge. Clay jars, cactus and white rendered walls complete a relaxed Mediterranean setting above the beach. Suited to ocean terraces, garden steps and outdoor living areas.
